At the May 12, 2008 City Council Meeting, Mayor Herbert H. Arihood (far right) presented PSI IOTA XI sorority members, (standing left to right) Jean Crawford and Dr. Kathy Parkison with a Proclamation declaring May, 2008 Better Speech and Hearing month in Rensselaer. PSI IOTA XI is a national charitable organization dedicated to helping others, especially in the fields of speech and hearing. Their hope is to facilitate greater awareness of speech, language and hearing disorders and their treatment.
